Chicken Tree


Ingredients
  • Chicken breast (Cubes) ½ kg
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Iceberg 1 flower
  • Yogurt 125 gm
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Mint leaves ¼ bunch
  • Water ½ cup
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
Method
  • Heat 3 tbsp oil in a wok, add 2 tbsp garlic paste and fry well.Then add ½ kg chicken and fry till its color turn to golden brown.Lower the flame, add 125 gm yogurt, 1 tbsp coriander powder, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chili powder, salt to taste and ½ cup water. Cover and cook for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Then remove lid, turn the flame high and fry well till water dries.Also add ¼ bunch of chopped coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leaves and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Cook till water dries.Turn the flame off.
  • Cut 1 iceberg flower into thick pieces. Cut 1 potato and 2 tomatoes into slices. Arrange potato and tomato slice in a serving plate.Spread chicken on top and serve.
